Comments on the match
Two man Swots made the trip to Brechin and what an entertaining match it turned out o be. Brechin had brought in a reserve Murray Johnstone for his first taste of Div 1 this season and in his 2 matches although he lost them both lost 4 deuce games.
Ryan won all his singles with a particularly close match against Aaron winning 3-2 however beat the other 2 in straight sets.Nick overcame Murray in 4 with some very close sets 3-1 and losing to Aaron and Derek in 4. Derek and Aaron teamed up for the doubles and from 2-1 down beat Ryan and Nick 3-2.
Very tough and enjoyable match with some great rallies however it was always going to be difficult for Swots starting 3-0 down
